Harvard, MIT Sue Trump Administration Over New Rule For Foreign Students
Harvard University along with MIT has filed a plea in the US District Court in Boston seeking a temporary restraining order prohibiting enforcement of the order by the Trump administration that directs international students in the US who do not attend in-person classes should leave the country. “We will pursue this case vigorously so that our international students—and international students at institutions across the country—can continue their studies without the threat of deportation, Harvard President Lawrence S. Bacow said in a statement on the University site. “For many of our international students, studying in the United States and studying at Harvard is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream.
